Joy-Anna Duggar Just Welcomed Her First Child

The already-big Duggar family just got even bigger: Joy-Anna Duggar, 20, and her husband Austin Forsyth, 24, have officially welcomed their first child together.

According to Forsyth's Instagram post, the adorable baby boy arrived on February 23 at 3:39 p.m., weighing 10 lbs., 3 oz and measuring 22 inches long.

The 19 Kids and Counting and Counting On stars first met when Austin and his family joined the Duggars’ church in Arkansas. The couple officially tied the knot in May 2017 after a three-month engagement. The couple announced the news of their pregnancy last August.

Both Joy-Anna and her new baby, named Gideon, are healthy and doing well.

“We are blessed beyond measure with the arrival of our son, Gideon Martyn Forsyth,” the couple told People. “Looking at our child for the first time was such an incredible moment! God is so good, and we are so thankful.”

Season 7 of Counting On premieres Monday night, February 26, at 9 p.m. ET on TLC; in the two-hour episode, fans will get to follow along as Joy-Anna and Austin enjoy their chaperone-free honeymoon in Switzerland.
