Josef Martinez tops Inter Miami salary list at $4 million. Here is full team salary list

The MLS Players Association on Tuesday released its 2023 salary list for all 869 players in the league who were signed by April 30.

Forward Josef Martinez is the highest-paid Inter Miami player with a base salary of $4 million and $4.39 million including guaranteed bonuses. Martinez, a former MLS MVP with Atlanta, joined Miami in January after Atlanta bought out his contract and released him. Atlanta covers the majority of his wages this season, so he is classified as a “Targeted Allocation Money” player for Miami ($651,250 to $1.65 million) rather than the higher-paid Designated Players. He went scoreless his first seven games with Miami, but has scored three in the past two games.

The second-highest-paid Miami player is midfielder Rodolfo Pizarro at $3.05 million ($3.35 million with bonuses). Pizarro spent last season on loan in Mexico, returned to Inter Miami this season and has missed the past few games with a hamstring injury.
