Jordan Spieth snakes a 91-foot birdie putt at Sony Open
Jordan Spieth is in hot pursuit of Dustin Johnson for the World’s No. 1 ranking and on Friday, at the Sony Open, Spieth was cooking with grease from the fifth green. Situated 91 feet away from the hole on a lengthy par-4, Spieth appeared to be aiming for par. Instead, the PGA Tour’s No. 2 golfer eyed a birdie.

From a completely different zip code, Spieth’s putt, traveled through the woods, into grandmother’s house, snaked over two slopes and took multiples directional changes before dropping into the cup.

The 91-footer putt shattered Spieth’s personal record by 40 feet. Unfortunately, heading into the weekend, Spieth’s 3-under par has him 10 shots back of tournament leader Brian Harman on the leaderboard.
