Dolly Parton is the inspiration behind a new hotspot in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn.

Jolene” — which was released 50 years ago by the country music legend and recently covered by hip hop superstar Lil Nas X, Parton’s goddaughter Miley Cyrus, and jazz singer Wendy Moten — is the name of a swanky new watering hole that opens to the public this weekend at the Moxy hotel chain’s first location in Brooklyn at 353 Bedford Avenue.

The 150-person space is “reminiscent of the 1970s and 1980s nightclubs,” according to creators of Jolene, and is accentuated by bold textures, modular furniture and an illuminated ceiling.

Guests will enjoy state-of-the-art audio in the “retro-themed, high-energy room” inspired by the “fierceness and femininity” of the 10-time Grammy winner.

“This is the place to dance, drink, relax and just completely be yourself to the sound of the best music around,” said Elad Zvi of Bar Lab Hospitality, which collaborated with the Moxy to create the unique space. The consulting agency also worked with the hotel on its lobby cocktail bar, Bar Bedford, and rooftop lounge, LilliStar.

Jolene’s opening weekend lineup of entertainers include DJ Delish, Kels, Shawn Dub, Analog Soul, Eli Scobar and Haruka.

Tickets for the various shows can be purchased on Resident Advisor.
