JoJo Siwa is gearing up to hit the road for her Nickelodeon's JoJo Siwa D.R.E.A.M. The Tour in January. The YouTube personality has taken to Twitter with an update on the show, stating that Nickelodeon will not allow her to perform songs from her live-action musical, The J Team.

"I go out on tour in January. My movie musical was just released (with 6 new original songs)... Nickelodeon told me today that I'm not allowed to perform/add any of the songs from the film into my show," she wrote. "These are MY songs, MY voice, MY writing. Does this seem fair???"

The J Team was produced by Nickelodeon Films and released on Paramount+ on September 3. The film follows a young girl's journey after her beloved dance coach retires, and features appearances from Tisha Campbell-Martin, Laura Soltis, Julia Marley, Kerrynton Jones, and Kiara T. Romero.

"There is no reason that this music should not be included," JoJo continued. "Working for a company as a real human being treated as only a brand is fun until it’s not."

Nickelodeon has yet to respond to JoJo's claims.
