Hope in Turbulent Times

A conversation with Rapper, songwriter, and actor Common

September 10

4pm-4:45 EST via Vimeo

Join a revealing, intimate, and important conversation with Common and Men’s Health mental health experts Drew Ramsey, MD and Gregory Brown MD. They’ll discuss the best ways to stay cool in chaotic times, and they’ll cover race, racism, and Black mental health.

Common has been a leader in the mental health space, talking about how he changed his life to change his mental health. Now, he reveals how those changes have helped him cope with everything that’s going on right now. What’s been keeping him from being dragged down by the weight of the moment, he said in an interview with Men's Health, includes “spirituality, fitness, eating healthy meals consistently, and I was meditating more than I ever had before.”

This special series of talks is relevant to you whether you want to change the world or just want to make it through the day with more mental energy.

“Part of getting the world better is getting you better,” Common told us in August.

In this discussion, he’ll talk with two top mental health pros about how he feeds his mental health, what to do when you get pushback about changes you’re making, how to stay mentally fit as an activist, and the physical moves that keep him going.
