John Travolta Pays Tribute to Late 'Speed Kills' Co-Star Tom Sizemore

The 'Saving Private Ryan' actor died on March 3 from a brain aneurysm.

John Travolta is honoring his late co-star, Tom Sizemore.

The Saving Private Ryan star died Fri., March 3, at the age of 61 after being hospitalized for several weeks from suffering a stroke and brain aneurysm.

Following his death, Travolta, 69, shared a touching note honoring his late friend in a now-deleted Instagram story, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"I did a film with Tom Sizemore called Speed Kills. I found him to be an excellent character actor,” Travolta wrote. “He knew exactly what he was doing. I enjoyed the experience working with him very much. He will be missed.”

Travolta and Sizemore worked together on the 2018 crime drama where they starred alongside Jennifer Esposito, Kellan Lutz, and James Remar.

Sizemore's manager Charles Lago confirmed his death to People, writing, "It is with great sadness and sorrow I have to announce that actor Thomas Edward Sizemore ("Tom Sizemore") aged 61 passed away peacefully in his sleep today at St Joseph's Hospital Burbank."

Travolta is among many other celebrities who paid tribute to the late actor, including Danny Trejo who wrote, "Beautiful guy, god called another hero back. RIP Tom Sizemore," alongside a photo of him and other Heat stars including, Robert De Niro, Jon Voight, and Val Kilmer.

Actor Robert Davi also shared his condolences, writing, "Am saddened to hear of Tom Sizemore’s end of life - his family has my prayers - Tom and I were friends I knew of his suffering & his struggle with Addition - he was a terrific talent - Many families suffer from the heartbreak and tragedy of this disease and we do not do enough!!"
