John Lewis' ANYDAY range might only have launched in April 2021, but it became a customer favourite the minute the range hit the virtual and actual shelves.
As an example of how beloved the collection is, this stylish denim jumpsuit enjoys such cult status it sells out as soon as it's back in stock and one super comfy Anya padded seam-free bras is sold every 25 minutes.
In an effort to beat the rush, we've identified what's going to be the brand's next big buy: the Abstract Heart Animal Print Slip Skirt, £26.
It promptly sold out in a size 18 (but you can sign up for notifications in case it comes back in stock) and quickly earned a spot in John Lewis' best-seller category. And given how quickly John Lewis best-sellers get snapped up, we advise checking it out pronto.
Why we rate it
Like many of the ANYDAY designs, this stylish, flattering skirt will be a year-around wardrobe staple.
When you look closely at it, you'll see it's actually a gorgeous, abstract heart print but with an animal print twist.
Cut to softly skim your curves, it floats out gently at the bottom.
The high-rise, midi-length slip skirt is made from a lightweight, planet-friendly, EcoVero Viscose. That means that fibres used in the fabric are extracted from sustainable wood pulp and are produced using an eco-friendly, responsible production fibre process.
To add to the many list of plus points, the flattering, versatile skirt is perfect if you're building a capsule wardrobe because it can be worn for so many different occasions.
A few ways you can change it up? Wear it with a white, cream, black or red top with slides, flip-flops or trainers for a casual daytime look. Add a blazer and black or tan court shoes for a work-appropriate vibe. For a wedding/party, team it with slinky black high-heeled sandals and a fitted Bardot top or bodysuit.
And if you have a plain coloured swimsuit, you could slip the skirt on over the top for a beach-to-bar look.
It'll work in winter, too - wear it with a black, red, berry or cream roll neck jumper, tights and knee-high boots, for example.
Currently available in sizes 6-20 (except for the sold-out size 18), it's machine washable, and you can iron it, too (though if you hang it up as it dries, and smooth the crinkles out, hopefully it won't need too much ironing).
What the reviews say
It's so new that there's only been time for one customer to leave a rave review about how much she adores this versatile, stylish, luxe-looking skirt.
"I don't wear skirts very often but I'm so pleased with this one!" the customer wrote. "It's perfect in every way! Very stylish, comfortable, perfect size, light to wear, nice fabric, versatile (can wear in hot summer with nice tan sandals or with tights and trainers or ankle boots)."
