Back in 2010, brands like Ed Hardy, Von Dutch, and True Religion were so big that they actually staged runway extravaganzas, because it wasn't enough for celebs like Paris, Nicole, and Lindsay to wear them during their Robertson Boulevard shopping trips. 2010 also happened to be the year that John Legend fell in love with Chrissy Teigen — he jokingly admitted that it was her turn on the Ed Hardy runway that cemented his love for her, although an eagle-eyed fan pointed out that he's mistaken.

"This was the year I proposed to you. After seeing you in the Ed Hardy show, I was convinced you were the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with," Legend wrote. People notes that he proposed in 2011, so something about that fringed vest and leopard print did it for him.

The throwbacks didn't stop there, however. In her Story, Teigen shared a backstage interview that showed her gushing over Legend, who was still her boyfriend at the time. "Want to die" she wrote over the clip.

"I mean he sings all the time. Like, that kid loves to sing," she said in the video. "I wish I could sing. I would sing all the time. Like I feel like I can't sing in the car anymore."

And as for the True Religion-Ed Hardy mix-up, a commenter noticed that Tiegen had misidentified which show she referenced, writing, "You’re so gorgeous as always, I thought it was for True Religion Swimwear! @chrissyteigen," @bellechrissyt wrote. Tiegen confirmed, writing, "u are right!! I ran to Ed Hardy after."

Looks like Legend will have to switch up his allegiance to aughts superbrands.
