Finally, some good news about Some Good News. After a seven-month hiatus, John Krasinski brought back his much-loved quarantine-era YouTube series Some Good News, in which he serves up feel-good headlines with the help of his celebrity friends. Krasinski returned to the interweb on Sunday, December 20th with a holiday special co-starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

In this episode, Krasinski reported on a pay-it-forward chain in which 900 customers at a single Dairy Queen Grill & Chill paid for the meal in the car behind them over the course of two days. He also told the story of Isaiah Garza, who gifted his homeless friend Robyn an apartment for Christmas, and then celebrated FedEx for delivering the new COVID-19 vaccines to frontline workers across the country.

Every story in Some Good News will make you smile until your jaw hurts—and this episode was definitely worth the months-long wait.

Johnson (dressed as Dwanta Claus) joined Krasinski to talk to Jay Abel, a single dad who has been selling his collectibles on eBay in order to buy his kids Christmas presents this year. After Abel tweeted at Johnson and told him of his situation, Johnson wanted to meet Abel virtually through Some Good News.

The three dads met up, talked about Abel's eBay mission, and Dwanta delivered some incredible news—"Take all of your stuff off of eBay because Dwanta Claus is going to take care of all of that stuff, man," Johnson said. He gifted Abel and his children with a trip to the D.C. Universe in Southern California and a leather-bound copy of the Black Adam film script.

Some Good News does it again. We can't stop smiling and the 2020 holiday season has been saved.
