Joey King Fights to Reclaim The Throne in "The Princess" Trailer

Joey King transforms everything we know about royalty and fairy tale romances in the new movie The Princess. Hulu just released the official trailer for the upcoming film, and Joey proves that she's not your average royal.
The film follows Joey's journey as she turns down an arranged marriage proposal from a "cruel sociopath" and the devastating events that follow. The princess is kidnapped and locked in a tower after the man she refuses to marry overthrows her father and takes his seat on the throne as king.
Left to very few devices, the princess uses lace from her clothing and steel chains that keep her shackled to take on guards and other unsuspecting staffers working to uphold her scorned suitor's plan. The sword-yielding princess must fight to regain her freedom and reclaim her family's kingdom with all her might.
The Princess is directed by Le-Van Kiet and stars Veronica Ngo (The Old Guard, Furie) and Ivo Arakov (Full Love, Sneakers). The film will stream exclusively on Hulu starting July 1.
