Joey King is starring in a new film aptly called The Princess, and she is serving some great fashion looks at the premiere.
The 22-year-old paired a tulle skirt with a black crop top, and her washboard abs were on full display.
Joey is all about strength training, and recently hit a PR in her deadlift. This woman is seriously strong!
It’s official: Joey King is made to be a royal. I mean, come on, it's literally in her name.
The 22-year-old Kissing Booth actress looked absolutely stunning at the premiere of her newest film, The Princess. Joey is, of course, playing the badass titular "princess" who fights for her personal freedom after fleeing an arranged marriage.
A feminist old-timey princess? Simply LOVE to see it!
At the premiere, Joey definitely channeled some Big Royal Energy with a massive red tulle skirt. Joey paired the skirt with oversized black gloves (sounds bizarre, looks phenomenal) and an asymmetrical crop top. And Joey (and her abs) are looking absolutely fabulous.
The star’s abs were absolutely popping in the dress (the ultimate accessory). But how does the star stay so toned?
Joey previously told The New Potato that she tries aims to work out four or five times per week, with an emphasis on running and boxing. "I absolutely love exercise because I feel energetic and happy when I work out on a regular basis, but sometimes vegging out is so necessary," she told the outlet.
Obviously, playing a princess who is, let’s face it, slaughtering men in the movie’s trailer, probably required a bit of a strength upgrade. And she's definitely been crushing some strength workouts lately, including this PR on her deadlift.
While training for her upcoming role in The Princess, Joey told Byrdie that she spent three to four hours a day learning hardcore stunts that included skateboarding.
"I wake up, I pack my Gatorade and many liters of water. I eat a big breakfast: a bowl of oats with lots of fruit and some toast. I head to training, where I f**kin' go for it for a few hours,” she says. “Then I have meetings to prepare for the rest of the film. Then I take a shower, shove myself in an ice bath, and then I am miserable while I'm doing that. But then I get out and sleep like a goddamn baby."
In terms of her nutrition, Joey told the outlet she tries “to eat as healthfully as possible, but I don’t make myself crazy.”
"If I’m craving a piece of bread or a bowl of pasta, sometimes I just need to listen to my body and indulge," she added. "You definitely have to find a balance, though, because eating the right things has incredible health and healing benefits. It’s not about how you look–it’s about taking care of your body so you can be the best you."
Joey, you know what's going on! Love to see it.
