The Biden campaign was ready for their moment. As soon as the networks made the call, out came the marketing materials, reaction videos, social media posts etc. And, oh, what a blessing they have been to receive. In matching posts, President elect Joe Biden and Vice President elect Kamala Harris released a chill-inducing video set to the tune of Ray Charles' rendition of "America the Beautiful."

With it's roaming footage of various scenes from American life, the video perfectly captured the Biden campaign's call for unity, which until this morning seemed like a pipe dream. Throughout the video, Americans take turns holding and posing in front of a picture frame. B-roll of a Native American woman walking across the plains gives way to a motorocyclist cruising around a neighborhood. A Black Lives Matters protestor hugs her children. Two handsome men embrace during a wedding ceremony.

The message is as clear as the reflection in Joe Biden's aviators: We are all equally Americans, no matter our race, creed, origins or occupations. And after 4 years of witnessing Trump spew vitriol and diviseness from the Oval Office, watching this video is truly a restorative experience, like having your head hit the pillow after you spent four sleepless nights waiting to see who the next president of the United States would be.

Or if you're Kamala Harris, finding out that after campaigning for the better part of the last two years, you are now the first female Vice President of the United States. The incoming Veep took to Twitter to post a video in which she calls Joe Biden and exclaims: "We did it! We did it Joe!"
