Joe Alwyn Wants to Give Taylor Swift an 'Unforgettable' Proposal Soon
The ever-private Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn may be on the cusp of getting engaged in secret. Us Weekly reports that Alwyn, whom Swift has been quietly dating for a little over two years, is planning to pop the question to Swift imminently. Over the holiday? For her birthday tomorrow? Only he knows, but a source gave Us the vague timeline of "soon."
“Joe is very keen on proposing soon,” the source said. “But he wants to make it unforgettable and extremely special.” The source also made it clear that Swift will inevitably say yes no matter what he does. “He’s her dream guy,” the source explained. “Taylor’s going to be over the moon.”
Back in March, Us Weekly first hinted to the world that Swift really wanted this proposal to happen. “Taylor really believes Joe is the one for her,” a source told Us Weekly then. “She wants to get engaged to him. She just doesn’t feel as though she has to impress anyone at this point.”

Swift and Alwyn have kept things low profile but have been visibly out together this month. Last week, the two were photographed in New York City arriving back at Swift's apartment. Swift had done a surprise performance at the Ally Coalition's Talent Show that Alwyn supported her at.
And this weekend, Swift was at the London premiere and after party of Alwyn's latest film, Mary, Queen of Scots. She kept her appearance as off-camera as possible, skipping the red carpet. One of Alwyn's co-stars shared a photo of her at the after party, the only publicly-shared photo-evidence that her appearance happened.
