Introducing Year 2020, the start of a brand new decade and the year that we as a collective are done with giving a f*ck! Okay, so that last part might not be totally true for all of us, but it certainly appears to be for Jodie Turner-Smith, because she just finished having one hell of a decade, if I do say so myself. Please allow me to get you acquainted with this budding star!
Jodie just recently starred in the stunning Bonnie and Clyde-inspired film, Queen & Slim, opposite Daniel Kuuya (from Get Out, you fave thriller flick), also had a role in the television series, Jett, and just recently got married to her now husband, Dawson's Creek alumn Joshua Jackson. And that's not all—they're expecting their first child together!!! So it's kinda safe to say that Jodie's 2019 was amazing.
Since Jodie has a lot to celebrate, she decided to ring in the new year by jetting off to Jamaica with Joshua and spending some time at the GoldenEye resort, according to E!, and took a little break from lounging around on the beach so her husband could snap a rather cheeky nude picture of her soaking up the sun. "Happy New Year & Happy New Decade," she captioned the sizzling post. "The last 10 years have been quite the ride!!! I laughed, I cried, and, most importantly, I LEARNED. Keep going. May we all see that our wildest dreams *continue* to come true." And for fun, Jodie added an equally cheeky hashtag that read #ItsNotAThirstTrapIfYourManTakesThePhoto. Love to see it!
