[UPDATE] Joanna Gaines Just Opened Her Magnolia Press Coffee Shop

Magnolia Press, the long-awaited coffee shop by Joanna Gaines is officially open for business! The coffee shop, located in Waco, Texas, is just a portion of the expansion to be done in the area.

A furniture store, a retail market, a recreation area, and a re-purposed church space are in the plans for the Magnolia Silos location. All that means people can admire the views while sipping on their coffee courtesy of Chip and Jo now.

A few days ago before opening, Joanna posted a photo to her Instagram while decorating the Magnolia Press space. The excitement in her face really says it all!

From the looks of it, it's the perfect corner coffee shop getaway.

UPDATE: September 3, 2019

Well, folks, we've got a very important Magnolia Press update. On Thursday, Joanna Gaines (and her youngest, one-year-old Crew!) shared a progress report and sneak peak of the coffee shop.

According to Gaines, renovations are coming along. Though things are still under construction, the family is hoping to open doors in October. "I can't wait for the whole place to come to life," she gushes in the clip.

So what's the ~vibe~ of their new space? "The feeling in the coffee shop, I really wanted it to just feel cozy, kind of a blend of that library feeling but a little bit of industrial," she continued. "Originally this was an industrial vibe, so we wanted to keep that with the elements you can see on the ceiling, and in some of the light fixtures."

She adds that there will be brass and copper accents, a green exterior, walnut cabinetry, and a "rough, gray concrete" interior with rich green walls. Sounds on-brand, huh?

In case you didn't already know, Joanna Gaines is a busy lady. Aside from being a mom of five, she's working on a second cookbook, launching a new TV network with husband Chip, and according to her latest Instagram post, she's also opening a new coffee shop this fall.

In the post, she gives followers a sneak peek at the renderings of the space. "For the past couple of months, we’ve been working on a new addition to the Silos grounds," she wrote. "This fall, our coffee shop Magnolia Press, will officially open!"

She shared more details about the project on her blog writing, "When we evaluated what we felt was missing from the overall experience and how we could use the old building next door, everyone on our team agreed a good corner coffee shop would make the perfect fit."

We have to wonder, will the shop be serving up PSLs come fall? One can only hope!
