Been dreaming of a last minute getaway? JetBlue to the rescue—that is, if you're looking to escape, like, tomorrow. Ranked the second best airline in the U.S. in 2016's Readers' Choice Awards, JetBlue is at it again with another flash sale, with some tickets as low as $20 one-way. You can hardly buy a movie ticket for that cheap these days.
Routes at the $20 price point include Washington, DC to Boston; Oakland to Long Beach, California; and Long Beach to San Francisco. From New York, you can escape the April rains, with flights to Fort Lauderdale for $40 from Newark or JFK, or even to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, for just $80 one-way.
How to book: All you have to do is head to JetBlue's flash fare site and find a deal that works for you. Of course, this flight deal comes with some serious restrictions: Flights at these prices are limited to specific flights on specific days, so you've gotta be flexible, spontaneous, and ready to spring. For example, to get from JFK to Fort Lauderdale, you'll have to take Flight 1901 at 9:55 p.m. on May 1—no other date or time will apply. You'll also have to pay for your flight back separately—unless you just have no plans of ever coming back. These tickets are bound to sell fast, so you'll need to act ASAP.
If you've got an open calendar and the mind to fly, now's as good (and cheap) a time as ever. Get to it.
