Jessica Simpson is no stranger to showing off her fit body on Instagram, and her latest snap is no exception. The actress and singer, 40, recently went for a bike ride with her family while rocking a pair of skinny jeans and 5-inch heels.

"Trying my hardest to feel peaceful riding my 7yr old sons bike. You can’t see them, but you know I’ve got 5-inch platforms on to reach the pavement for grounding 😜," she captioned her post.

"You look amazing," one follower commented, while another wrote, "You look so good girl!" Still another fan added, "You look amazing!! An inspiration for this mama to prioritize my clean eating + daily movement!! 💫"

Back in September 2019, the momma of three shared that she’d lost 100 pounds after giving birth to her daughter, Birdie. The Open Book author also showed off her toned self earlier this year in a pair of 14-year old True Religion jeans she'd saved to celebrate her 40th birthday.

Over the past year, the fashion designer worked with her trainer Harley Pasternak to walk 14,000 steps a day and maintain a healthy eating regimen of three meals and two snacks that included a mix of protein, fiber, and fat.

Pasternak also shared with E! News that Jessica does 45-minute workout sessions three days a week, which include a five- to 10-minute cardio warm up, 20 to 30 minutes of resistance training and flexibility, and five to 10 minutes of a cardio cool-down.

And last week, she posted a photo of herself practicing yoga.

"Starting the week with a warrior mindset aligned with the beauty of the sunset ✨," she captioned the post.

Beyond exercising and eating right, Jessica also unplugs for at least an hour and tried to get at least seven hours of sleep each day.
