Jessica Simpson Shares Sweet Photos From Daughter's 4th Unicorn-Themed Birthday

Jessica Simpson's youngest daughter reached a major milestone this week, ringing in her fourth trip around the sun on Sunday, March 19—and leave it to her mom to throw her littlest a magical birthday bash.

The actress and fashion designer, 42, shared some highlights from Birdie's b-day festivities to Instagram on Thursday, March 23, including snaps of the adorable child, her exquisite unicorn cake and shots of the whole Simpson-Johnson fam.

Simpson, who is also a mom to 10-year-old daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson and 9-year-old son Ace Knute Johnson with husband Eric Johnson, appeared to be beaming with excitement in the birthday party photos, where she was dressed perfectly for the occasion in a fur-lined bright purple coat and funky patterned pants.

Birdie had gotten her face painted during the birthday bash, appropriately in the shape of a rainbow-colored unicorn. The newly-minted 4-year-old was all smiles while posing next to her cake, in front of the candy bar and snuggled with her dad for a selfie.

"This adorable wonder of a unicorn kiddo illuminates every color in the rainbow…her favorite color," the proud mama wrote in her Instagram caption. "Birdie magically makes us laugh AT ALL TIMES capturing attention from EVERYONE! She is uniquely and effortlessly herself."

"This little lady celebrates and twirls through her life in tutus with a pure unique understanding in her soul of glitter sparkles," the Dukes of Hazzard alum continued. "We love her SO VERY MUCH and she knows it. Birdie is a symphony of STARDUST and born to SHINE."

She concluded, "I smiled the entire time writing this because even when she isn’t home, I feel her presence glowing inside of me. Bird puts the HAPPY to the BIRTHDAY 3/19/19."
