Jessica Simpson rocked a fun, eye-catching get-up while helping her daughter Maxwell ring in her eleventh birthday! The 42-year-old “I Wanna Love You Forever” hitmaker uploaded a sweet tribute post for her birthday girl on Instagram last week, and showed off her illuminating style and notable weight loss.

While Maxwell held her mother in the air for the cute pic, Simpson smiled and gave her 6.3 million IG followers a glimpse into their adorably playful mother-daughter dynamic. The “With You” singer donned a bright yellow neon jacket, a black top underneath, shiny, standout black leather pants, and black-and-yellow socks while Maxwell went for a multicolored hoodie and white trousers.

Simpson accessorized her gleaming outfit with large silver hoop earrings, layered necklaces, and wore her signature long blonde tresses down, parted in the center and styled into loose waves. The fashion designer sported smokey eyeshadow, sky-high lashes, rosy blush and a glossy pink pout to top it all off.

In her caption, the mom of three wrote, “On May 1, 2012, my first born, Maxwell Drew Johnson arrived into this life as a sentient being seemingly not of this world. In the purest of form, her mind heart and soul ascended from the grace of heaven to shine in profound ways.”

She added, “I felt her purpose in my life when I was a kid and I would pray for my future daughter every single day and night. I know that most Moms would say please slow down time when their baby turns 11, but I have truly known her my entire life.”

Simpson Touches Fans With Sweet Message For Her Daughter Maxwell

Simpson, who also shares 9-year-old son Ace and 4-year-old daughter Birdie with her husband Eric Johnson, went on in her caption, “Reading back on 30 yrs of conversations with God throughout my journal entries, it is evident that Maxwell was already living inside of my heart and my purpose.”

The Dukes of Hazzard actress described Maxwell’s birthday party to be “Franklin farm life happy” and continued, “She told me after she blew out HER 11 candles…”I made a wish that was for me and you and actually the whole family.” I said Maxi it should be your wish and she said “we have the same wishes Mom.””

Simpson and former NFL player Johnson have been married since 2014, and together since 2010. The “Irresistible” crooner also noted in her caption that Maxwell wished for her grandfather (Simpson’s father Joseph) to have a successful cancer treatment, and let fans know that he did, indeed!

“3 days later on our way back to Cali she overheard me reading a text from my Dad and asked my mom sitting next to her, “GiGi if my birthday wish came true already can I say it out loud or do I still keep it to myself?” My mom told her to share it with everyone if she wanted to, especially if it had already come true… Maxwell’s birthday wish was for her Papa Joe’s bone cancer treatment to work. It did,” Simpson wrote.

She concluded her message, “Thank you Maxi Drew for usin’ your wish on our family and most importantly, my Dad. You are mesmerizing, steadfast, intelligent, passionate, generous, loving, devoted, inspiring, enticing, confident, empathetic, powerful, intuitive, beautiful, DETERMINED, enlightened and FULL OF WONDER. The faith of a child is what keeps all of us ALIVE.”

Fans couldn’t get enough of the wholesome post, or Simpson’s epic ensemble. “Maxwell’s soul full of love radiates from her!” one fan commented, adding, “Thank you for sharing her spirit through the years with your posts and stories and soooo glad to hear about Joe!”

Someone else chimed in, “Such a beautiful post. Thanks for sharing this,” as others noted that they “loved the outfit” and Simpson’s “pretty makeup.”
