Jessica Alba posted a last-minute photo dump of her favorite summer pics on Instagram, and she's delivering all the summer vibes, just in case you're missing warmer weather. The actress, 40, shared snaps from her summer adventures, including snorkeling, sunbathing, and lounging by the pool.

In the last pic, she's balancing on a paddleboard (with five other people, btw—no big deal). Oh, and her abs look so toned. Jessica rocks a black top with gym shorts, and her 'fit shows off her sculpted core. She's looking sporty and stronger than ever, and people totally noticed in the comments.

Aside from the many, many heart emojis, lots of users noticed that Jessica's pics look a little like some of her famous movies. Flipper, anyone? Or Into the Blue?

"Last #photodump of the summer ☀️⚡️," Jessica captioned the snaps:

So, just how does Jessica stay so fit? For starters, she's revamped her workout routine over the last year. Jessica told Women's Health that the pandemic shifted the way she thought about exercise.

“I always thought, I need to sweat out my weight in water, I need to have muscle failure, I need to feel like I just ran a marathon—that’s how hard I needed to work out," she said. Now, “I’ve learned to mix it up and not feel like a failure if I’m not, you know, killing myself."

Jessica usually works out two to four times a week, and the Pilates reformer is one of her go-tos. “I feel every muscle in my core,” she added. “I never even knew I had those things.” Other days, she goes for a spin class or a hot yoga session.

"I like high-intensity workouts; I like moving around a lot. I don’t like a lot of repetition," she told Byrdie. "I’ll always work out with a friend because it’s more fun."

And, she's been focusing on her mental health more, too. For Jessica, self-care comes first—almost before she gets out of bed.

"In the mornings, I put on a face mask and a thick swipe of lip balm so I can be under this layer of hydration while I’m getting my coffee," she told Women's Health. “It reminds me that I’m allowed to take care of myself as well. It’s a little bit of tender loving care to start the day.”

As for her diet, Jessica leans toward plant-based meals on the reg. “Four days a week, I try to eat plant-based, and I don’t drink alcohol,” she said. “Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, all bets are off. That feels like moderation to me.”

She also loves to cook. Anything from stir-fries to pasta to Cornish game hens is all fair game, per Byrdie. And, she starts most mornings off with her favorite smoothie. Almond butter, coconut water, fruit, and sometimes chocolate combine in the blender for a breakfast treat everyone enjoys, Jessica said.

Her overall food philosophy? "Always try to have as many fresh and natural things in your diet as possible and the least amount of processed things and things that have unnatural sugars," she told Byrdie. Words to live by (brb, now I'm in the mood for chocolate).
