Jesse Eisenberg Gets Buff in First Trailer for Manodrome

Jesse Eisenberg grows some muscles and joins a cult in Manodrome, the new thriller from director John Trengrove.

Eisenberg plays Ralphie, a man with a serious set of demons which manifest themselves in violent outbursts (at more than one point in the trailer he fires a gun). Enter: Adrien Brody as Dad Dan.

He welcomes Ralphie into a men-only cult that seems to be obsessed with working out, getting women, and punching each other. There are shades of Fight Club, and more than a passing resemblance to controversial media personality Andrew Tate’s cult-like War Room.

According to the official description: “As Ralphie struggles to define himself, pressure mounts and a powder keg is lit that will blow a hole in the lives of everyone he touches. Joining Eisenberg in an all-star cast are Academy Award winner Adrien Brody and the unforgettable Odessa Young. Experience a thrilling film about one man’s discovery that there is nowhere to hide from yourself.”

Manodrome hits theaters on November 10, and releases on digital November 17. Check out the trailer below.

It's a macho film, sure, but is it man enough to take on Jason Statham starring in an action film scripted by Sylvester Stallone?
