Jennifer Manners teams up with Sanderson, hot debuts from McKay, West Haddon Hall, and more

Like spring flowers, of-the-moment, outdoor-driven collections from design brands across the globe are popping up everywhere. From rainbow-colored retro-style lawn chairs to sun loungers with surfboard-shaped legs, here are some standouts from the latest round of launches.

Jaipur Living premiered the sumptuous Fine Fibers series. The debut comprises 20 hand-made rug designs in soft hues and highly touchable natural materials, including the pure cashmere Vivre and the silk-and-nettle Theoros.

Arhaus unveiled Echoes, its official 2024 outdoor collection. In addition to the Beaumont line of ribbed teak furniture and the modular Bal Harbour series, the launch offers a medley of weatherproof accessories, ranging from a hand-chiseled concrete fire pit to a curved umbrella and Raine, a heathered performance rug hand-made from recycled fibers.

Jennifer Manners teamed up with Sanderson for the Icon collection, which re-imagines five of the latter’s most popular patterns as hand-knotted performance-rated rugs constructed entirely from recycled water bottles, including the bold botanical Emperor Peony and Niyali, inspired by 18th century ikat.

New York designer Matt McKay launched his first furniture collection. The series features six hand-made designs punctuated by sculptural, statement-making silhouettes, such as the asymmetrical Ahoo lounge chair and the Crest banquette, a curvaceous charmer with a cylindrical backrest.

Burrow dropped a fresh line of outdoor furniture named Dunes. The series offers more than a dozen weather-safe midcentury-inspired designs crafted in natural teakwood, including an adjustable sun lounger with surfboard-shaped legs and a sleek slatted dining table with coordinating bench and chairs.

Greenville, South Carolina–based home decor brand Porch and Parlour Home debuted its inaugural collections. The launch spans four lines of hand-made pillows and fabrics based on historical textile documents from the Baxter Mill Archive, including the animal-print-filled Sangri, the folklore-inspired Senlin, the classic Signature and the jewel-toned Veneta.

West Haddon Hall’s Collection 1 is teeming with sophisticated whimsy. The launch offers 14 heirloomworthy pieces designed by the Los Angeles design firm’s founder, Kate Driver, including a cork coffee table called Tuxedo; the Ivy side table, with its highlighter-hued cast resin; and the velvet-upholstered Orleans ottoman.

The MoMA Design Store rolled out its latest collection of outdoor-ready offerings. Along with a playful free-form chair made from recycled plastic and a lightweight lounger with a built-in sunshade, introductions include a multicolored garden trolley and a rainbow-hued retro-style lawn chair with a foldable aluminum frame.

Thomas O’Brien introduced nine hand-knotted rug patterns into his ongoing collaboration with Patterson Flynn. Based on the New York designer’s original artworks, additions include everything from the deco-style Indira and the geometric Kouros to the fringe-lined Yuri and Astrid, a silk-accented stunner inspired by Arts and Crafts ceramics.

Vaughan released an array of new designs for spring and summer. Highlights include the two-tiered oak Upham coffee table (with brushed brass accents), the Regency-style Wickham chair, and the crackled Fishtail Vase table lamp, now available in pale gray Stone, deep red Sang de Boeuf and sky blue Duck Egg glazes.

Tidelli Outdoor Living’s Shell series will transform your client’s backyard into a beachy oasis. The three-piece line includes a loveseat, a lounge chair, and an accent chair with seashell-shaped frames composed of woven rope and cushions that are available in more than 200 styles of weather-resistant fabrics.
