Jennifer Lopez Shares Makeup-Free Photo From Bed After She Weds Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez posted a makeup-free photo to Instagram, glowing while flashing her new wedding ring.
Lopez officially married actor Ben Affleck in a small wedding in Las Vegas over the weekend.
The couple rekindled their love and got engaged in 2021, almost two decades after breaking off their initial engagement in 2003.
If you’ve yet to hear, let us be the first to tell you that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are married! The two stars got engaged again in 2021 (almost two decades after calling off their initial engagement in 2003). Over the weekend, fans lost it when the 52-year-old superstar confirmed she and Affleck officially married, dropping the news with a stunning makeup-free photo on Instagram (presumably the morning after the duo’s nuptials).
The Halftime star shared the glowing picture just hours after fans found out she married Affleck, 49, in a small wedding in Las Vegas. In the photo, Lopez is seen relaxing in a bed full of comfy blankets and pillows, glowing as she flashes her stunning, yet simple, wedding band.
“Sadie! #iykyk Go to OnTheJLo for all the deets,” she wrote, referencing the lyrics to the Funny Girl song Sadie, Sadie that include “I’m Sadie, Sadie, married lady.”
Friends and fans quickly jumped into the comment section to congratulate the newlyweds.
Today show host Hoda Kotb commented, “Love is patient and right on time. Congrats, my darling.” Lopez’s hairstylist, Chris Appleton, commented, “What a dream,” and celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson commented, “Happily ever after,” followed by heart emojis.
Others posted tributes to the couple on their own Instagram accounts. Businesswoman Loren Ridinger posted a photo of Lopez and her now husband Affleck on their wedding day with the caption, “After all the talks, the laughs, and tears…20 years later. Here’s to fairytales…here’s to love…and all the things that little girls dream of…Here’s to forever. Love you @jlow #benaffleck. So happy for you both.”
And, Appleton posted twice on the wedding day, sharing a behind-the-scenes video of Lopez in her wedding dress, getting ready to say “I do.” In the first video, Lopez poses for the camera and Appleton asks her (from behind the camera) how she’s feeling.
“I feel amazing! I’m so excited,” she replied.
“You look gorgeous,” Appleton said as he filmed the Marry Me star. She twirled around in her dress a few times. “Whoo! Somebody’s getting married,” he cheered from behind the camera.
Lopez then added, “I’ve had this dress for so many years and I was just saving it and saving it and saving it, and now I’m wearing it on my wedding day.”
In a second Instagram post, Appleton shared a photo of himself with Lopez after finishing up the star’s hair and makeup. “Wedding glam,” he captioned the photo. “Out of all the events and crazy glams we have had, this definitely was the most special. Congratulations Jen and Ben!”
Lopez detailed the wedding in her personal newsletter to fans, according to People. She revealed that she wore two different outfits for the big day. The first was an off-the-shoulder lace, long sleeve bridal gown with a matching veil from Zuhair Murad and the second was another look that she referred to as “a dress from an old movie” that she donned for the post-ceremony festivities.
“So, with the best witnesses you could ever imagine, a dress from an old movie, and a jacket from Ben’s closet, we read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives,” she wrote. “They were right when they said, ‘all you need is love.’ We are so grateful to have that in abundance, a new wonderful family of five amazing children and a life that we have never had more reason to look forward to.”
