Jennifer Lopez is famous for her ultra-glamorous makeup looks — like the gorgeous smoky eye she wore for her New Year's Eve performance. Now though, with her JLo Beauty skin-care line officially out, she's sharing how she takes all of that makeup off — plus, how she further preps her skin before hitting the sheets.

The 51-year-old singer posted a tutorial of her evening skin-care routine on Saturday, January 2, though it's clear the video was filmed soon after her Rockin' Eve performance. After wishing everyone a Happy New Year, she says, "I still have all my stage makeup on. As you can see, it's a lot of makeup, and I'm ready to wash it all off.”

She then pats her face with water before going in with a dollop of her That Hit Single Cleanser. "It has a beautiful, beautiful texture," she says of the creamy gel wash. "I take a quarter-sized amount and just start washing it off. There it goes, wash away 2020." As she massages her face, you can clearly see the makeup melting away, and after splashing her face with water a few times, her skin looks almost entirely clean — with the exception of some lingering kohl eyeliner on her waterline.

She then uses a clean towel to pat her face dry and shows the camera that the towel is barely stained because her makeup is gone. "I always have a little bit left in my hair, but my skin is completely clean," she says.

Post-cleansing, she applies two pumps of her That JLo Glow Multitasking Serum, which she says she sent back to the lab 23 times in order to get it just right. "I wanted it to have a tightening and instant glow effect," she says.

The beauty mogul completes her skin-care routine with her That Blockbuster Cream, which contains ingredients like hyaluonric acid, squalane, the brand's exclusive "Olive Complex," and soothing shea butter.
