Jennifer Lopez may be a married woman now, but that's certainly not stopping her from bringing the heat.
The 53-year-old singer and actress posted a video from a recent performance in Italy that showed her wearing a sheer bodysuit, and she was ultra-toned from head to toe.
J.Lo sticks to a regular workout routine with her trainer and eats lots of healthy foods.
Jennifer Lopez is fresh off a fabulous post-wedding birthday trip with her new husband and is getting back to work. J.Lo, or as she likes to be called now, Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck, just dropped a video on Instagram from a performance in Capri, Italy, where she was bringing it in all sorts of ways.
In the video, a glowy J.Lo is all-over sculpted in a sheer bodysuit and spandex while dancing and singing a disco medley. There’s J.Lo’s abs, casually hanging out while she belts out “Turn the Beat Around,” her toned booty making an appearance as she completely owns the stage, and her super strong arms and legs showing up as she spins.
The 53-year-old captioned the video in Italian, writing, “Che notte!!! Grazie Capri!! Ti Amo 🇮🇹.” (“What a night!!! Thanks, Capri! I love you,” for those of you who don’t speak Italian.)
People were all over it in the comments. “Looking fierce 🔥,” one wrote. “You are amazing 🔥🔥🔥,” someone else chimed in.
Sure, it’s hardly shocking that J.Lo is as sculpted as she is—this is J.Lo I'm talking about, after all. But she’s also been open about the fact that she works hard to stay strong and healthy.
For starters, she’s big on hitting the gym and lifting weights. "Monday morning!! Let’s get it!!! #Lift,” she captioned an Instagram post last year that showed her working her arms.
She also gets her workouts in with the help of her trainers, Dodd Romero and David Kirsch. "She trains for roughly an hour, four to five times a week, focusing on different body parts each time," Romero previously told Oprah Daily.
Romero shared her exact abs workout and whew—it’s intense. J.Lo will do 50 hanging ab raises, 50 rope crunches, 50 incline sit ups with a 45 pound plate, followed by the same series of exercises at 35 reps and 21 reps…with no breaks between. That sounds like it would hurt in the morning.
Naturally, Jenny eats pretty healthy. Romero told Us Weekly that his famous client avoids processed foods and simple carbs, opting for complex carbs like sweet potatoes and quinoa instead. She’s also big on protein like egg whites, turkey, chicken breast, and grass-fed beef, along with salmon and sea bass. J.Lo likes to snack on a “handful” of nuts a day, too, he said.
BRB: Gotta watch that video again!
