Nearly every time we see Jennifer Lopez, she's sporting her tried-and-true, go-to look. Her long highlighted hair is styled in a blowout, she's wearing a high-glamor dress, her lips are painted nude, and she has a coordinating nude on her nails. So, needless to say, every time she switches it up, we can’t help but stare. Like today, when she debuted her shortest hair maybe ever, complete with a slightly edgier styling than we're used to.

On January 22, the multi-hyphenate flew out to Paris to sit front-row next to Zendaya and Hunter Schafer at Schiaparelli’s Haute Couture show. Of course, for the occasion, she had to come dressed to the nines. Which she was, but it was her new haircut that really caught our attention.

Paired with a full ensemble of Daniel Roseberry’s latest creations, J. Lo cut her long hair into a jaw-length bob. Parted down the middle, it reached right to the small of her neck. Then, following the trend of what is the hottest hairstyle of the year so far, the ends of her bob curled upwards in a flippy bob style. All of Lopez’s hair was coated in a wet-looking gel that held all of her hair slicked behind her ears. Well, all except two small strands that framed her face and added a little drama.

Besides just being an interesting style choice, the hair length is a major switch-up from last time we saw her. At the Golden Globes, the star had a voluminous, wavy, curly blowout that reached all the way to her chest—multiple inches longer than her most recent outing in Paris.

To go with the new look, Lopez wore a very Schiaparelli ensemble. The base of the look was a ribbed white turtleneck with abstract shapes embossed on top. She tucked the top into skin-tight black leggings that flowed all the way into her heels. Over the top, she layered a ruffly, oversized white coat. Then, she accessorized. First, with a chunky white and gold belt around her waist. Then, more importantly, with eye-shaped gold sunglasses complete with golden eyebrows.

The finishing touches were classic J. Lo. Her skin had the bronzed goddess glow that is most associated with the star, and her classic nude lips finished off the look.
