Jennifer Lopez Had A Cheeky Response to A Question About Ben Affleck

Hoda Kotb is just as curious as the rest of us are about Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s rumored rekindled romance. So when the Today show cohost saw an opening to ask the singer about her relationship status, she took it.
On the Today show this week, Hoda sat down with J.Lo and Lin-Manuel Miranda, who were there to promote the re-release of their song “Love Make the World Go Round” to benefit the onePulse Foundation. The charity track was originally released in 2016 to honor the victims of the Pulse Orlando Nightclub shooting.
While catching up with the artists about their personal lives, Hoda put Jennifer on the the spot and asked her about her rumored relationship with the "Gone Girl" star. Hoda first emphasized that J.Lo "looked happier," which made the "Jenny From the Block" singer laugh. But Hoda kept pressing.
“No, no, no. You look happier,” Hoda said. “I just have to tell you that every time I see a picture of you and Ben, I’m like, ‘She looks happier. She looks happier.’ Are we happier?”
Instead of answering her question, Jennifer shared more of her thoughts about why the re-release of “Love Make the World Go Round” is so significant. “The song is out five years since we’ve done it,” she replied. “I believe that [the] message of loving one another and coming together in love is never more relevant than it is right now.”
“Wait, it’s me you’re talking to, you know that?” Hoda said.
“I know,” Jennifer said. “You can call me. You have my number.”
After seeing this exchange, Jennifer and Hoda's fans took to social media to comment. Many cheered on J.Lo for keeping their relationship status to herself. “I like how JLo dodged that question,” one person wrote on YouTube. “I think Jennifer isn't very interested in talking about Ben,” a different fan tweeted, while a different viewer said, "Glad she [didn't] say anything about Ben, that's right way keep [your] relationship private."
As fans know, Jennifer and Ben previously dated for three years from 2001 to 2004. After postponing their engagement, the couple called it off and officially ended their relationship. In April of this year, Jennifer and Ben were reportedly seen hanging out together. The news came shortly after the singer ended her engagement to Alex Rodriguez.
