Jennifer Lopez Elegantly Stomps Onto the Jimmy Kimmel Set in Oversized Mary Janes

The trendy, ultrahigh platform Mary Janes Jennifer Lopez Affleck wore to her January 18 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live were very on-brand for the megastar—unambiguously feminine with an intimidating edge. Mrs. Affleck paired her sky-high white heels with an immaculate white dress coat, a matching clutch, and hair worn soft and long.

On her fingers Lopez wore several large cocktail rings, because why go subtle when you can go all glam? Just visible beneath the hem of the coat is the ruffled pink skirt of her Giambattista Valli dress. Lopez posted photos of the dress (sans coat) to her Instagram, the better to show off the sweet and sexy halter straps, with revealing cutouts under the bust, plenty of cleavage, and a girly white bow embellishment.

J.Lo. was on Jimmy Kimmel to promote her latest romantic comedy, Shotgun Wedding—about a couple whose destination wedding is interrupted by violent kidnappers—but she also discussed a bit about her actual wedding. While her was perhaps not as traumatic as getting literally hijacked, Lopez told Kimmel that she had a “little bit of PTSD” from her failed first engagement to Ben Affleck, which inspired the last-minute Vegas elopement this year.

“I just felt like the wedding was so stressful, and one day Ben just says, ‘Fuck it. Let’s just go to Vegas and get married tonight.’” Kimmel joked that they just “hopped on a Spirit Airlines flight,” which I’m guessing they did not actually do, but they did end up getting married that very night after Lopez finished rehearsal. “It was amazing. It was the best night,” Lopez said, adding she wrote a song about the wedding, including the pink Cadillac that was there, called, “Midnight Trip to Vegas.”
