Jennifer Lopez's Mile-Long Pigtails Are a Barbie's Dream
Jennifer Lopez is a woman who truly does it all — she's a singer, actress, dancer and producer (whew) who has also been changing her hair so fast, it's hard to keep up. But because we're low-key J.Lo stalkers, we're doing the work tracking the multitalented babe from the Boogie Down's many styles.
Most recently, the 49-year-old was seen on her hairstylist Chris Appleton’s Instagram wearing super long caramel-colored pigtails (two ponytails perched high on both sides of her head) along with neon orange sunglasses with triangle-shaped lenses and a floral top. He captioned the image, “Barbie Beat down” with three flame emojis because, well, it’s J.Lo, and she looks like the classic doll come to life.
From the looks of it, this style may be for Lopez’s upcoming music video with Bad Bunny. She first teased the collab on October 19 with a selfie-style video of her rocking space buns and a colorful paisley top. In the 24-second clip with the hashtag #musicanueva, she’s chewing bubblegum while singing to the tune playing in the background.
Last week, Appleton shared another pic of Lopez sporting shaggy long hair with bangs covering the front of her yellow aviators, which matched her bikini. The vibe of it all says “Malibu Barbie” with a retro 2000s feel. If the hair looks we've seen so far are any indication, this video is shaping up to be total fire.
