Jennifer Lopez’s Abs Are Serving up Major Fitspo on the First Monday Morning of 2021

Jennifer Lopez is wasting no time getting back into the gym to start the new year. The 51-year-old singer shared an Instagram of her first lifting session of 2021, and it’ll give you all the workout motivation you could need.

“Monday morning!! #2021 Let’s get it!!! #Lift,” the Marry Me actress captioned the post.

In the snap, J.Lo is wearing a cute white sports bra and black leggings while working her arms with a resistance machine, holding a cable in each hand.

She then followed that snap up with an Instagram video showing off her strong abs, legs, and booty in a red bikini. “#Meditation and #affirmations🏝🌊✨#MondayMotivation,” she captioned that post.

Of course, while this might be her first morning workout of 2021, she’s no stranger to the gym. Back in April 2020, J.Lo’s fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, shared a video on his Instagram story of the “Lonely” singer doing bicep curls.

Plus, she regularly shares videos on Instagram of herself doing all kinds of arm exercises—she definitely likes to lift (and she can go heavy!). In one Instagram workout she shared last year, J.Lo leg pressed nearly 300 pounds 10 times.

J.Lo sweats it out with A-Rod’s longtime trainer, Dodd Romero. He previously shared her abs routine with O, the Oprah Magazine. She knocks out 50 hanging abs raises, 50 rope crunches, and 50 incline sit-ups with a 45-pound plate, then a set of 35, followed by a set of 21. (Intense is an understatement.)

Besides working her body, she also pays attention to what she puts in it. Her personal chef, Kelvin Fernandez, shared some insight into J.Lo’s go-to foods. “Sparkling water, always fruits and vegetables, like strawberries… There’s always greens like spinach, cucumber, and celery to make green juice. They love starting their day with a green juice,” he told Us Weekly.
