Jennifer Lawrence says she wasn’t at the Golden Globes after-parties because of Emma Stone
After the 2018 Golden Globes, most celebrities were spotted hitting up an after-party or two. Unfortunately, Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone didn’t attend the parties this year — and Lawrence says it’s Stone’s fault as to why.
The two recently admitted that their close friendship started after sharing the same stalker, proving that you never know how you’ll meet the people who’ll end up influencing your life. They’re so close that Stone apparently asked Lawrence to be her date for the parties. But then, she had a change of plans.
Lawrence states that she was almost out the door when she heard from Stone. Stone apparently decided to skip the events and just hang out at Lawrence’s house. The problem was that Lawrence was, in her words, “halfway through glam when you told me that you didn’t want to go.”
And, she really meant that. In a video that was posted on Lawrence’s Facebook page, Stone asks her about the night. Sitting down, showcasing a smokey eye, Lawrence explains that she had gotten tickets for a few events, and was waiting for her car before the plans changed. So, she had to send her hair and makeup people home for a chill night in, instead.

We assume this sort of thing happens with celebrities quite a bit, but it’s still pretty funny.
While we know these two would have had a great time regardless of the venue, we’re pretty curious about what fun stuff they ended up doing. Aside from, y’know, Lawrence having to wash her face.
