The stars aligned and shined on Thursday night to celebrate the opening of Tiffany & Co.’s renovated Beverly Hills store. And they all matched. Well, nearly all.
You’d think, if everyone were to wear one color to an event for Tiffany & Co., it would be robin’s-egg blue — but it wasn’t. Celebs, including Jennifer Garner, Halle Berry, Sofia Vergara, and Reese Witherspoon, all showed up in black.
Let’s start with Garner; she kept things low-key in a smart and simple two-piece long-sleeved Lanvin dress with matching ankle-strap heels and a metallic clutch. She accessorized with $1,675,000 worth of Tiffany jewels, including a necklace, bracelet, and two rings, all from the Tiffany Masterpieces collection.
Berry wore a sheer Alexander McQueen blouse and trousers. She even wore black undergarments! How do we know? Her lacy bra was peeking out from the slightly unbuttoned blouse. She covered up with a blazer that matched her pants and accessorized with two necklaces, earrings, and a prism ring from the Tiffany Masterpieces collection. Her gold chains brought out the gold detailing in her blouse.
Vergara toned down the sexiness just a tad in a sweet, strapless dress featuring a large front ruffle in a polka dot pattern. The dress came down to just below her knees, and she accessorized with black peep-toe Louboutins and a black clutch. For jewelry, the Modern Family star went with a $130,000 gold and diamond fringe necklace from the Tiffany Masterpieces collection.
Witherspoon went the sleek route in a slinky black turtleneck jumpsuit that bared her cleavage through a keyhole that opened from the neck to the garment’s high waistband. She gave the look some sparkle with a pink sapphire, rubellite, and diamond $425,000 Tiffany Schlumberger bracelet and gold-and-diamond earrings from the Tiffany Masterpieces collection.
Gadot, who plays Wonder Woman and acts alongside Jon Hamm in the new film Keeping Up with the Joneses, kept up with the dress code but got creative. She sparkled in a tight, sleeveless, sequined Dolce & Gabbana dress with red roses. In case she didn’t shimmer enough, she also wore a diamond bracelet and two Tiffany rings.
Even the night’s performer, Ariana Grande, wore all black. She took the stage to perform “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend” in a spaghetti-strap silk black peplum top with a cutout on one side of her waist, black pants and black pumps. She glistened in a $250,000 necklace, along with a Tiffany Victoria diamond bracelet and ring.
Apparently one star did not get the memo, though. Kate Hudson showed up in head-to-toe pale pink. The main attraction was a sexy, silk blush-colored plunging jumpsuit with wide legs. Her peep-toe pumps were cut from the same cloth, literally, and the blazer draped over her shoulders was the same color in a different fabric. Even her lipstick matched. The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star frosted herself in a $195,000 diamond necklace from the Tiffany Masterpieces collection, a $135,000 gold-and-diamond bracelet, and a ring with pink (obviously) tourmaline and diamonds.
It seems someone was left out of the group text. But there were no hard feelings for the lack of coordination, as Hudson posted tons of snaps of herself and gal pals Witherspoon and Garner throughout the evening.
Regardless of the color of their outfits, they all stood out and looked like princesses in their jewels.
