The actress loves dressing up for the October holiday!
It shouldn't be much of a surprise that Jennifer Garner—whose professional job is all about pretending to be someone she's not—loves dressing up for Halloween.
But she made sure to clarify in a new video that while some people might assume that she "must like to dress as something super flirty for Halloween," that couldn't be further from the truth.
In the new video, which Garner shared on Instagram with the caption "♥️🎃♥️," she proved the statement wrong by sharing clips of her previous Halloween costumes.
Some of the ones shown included an old lady, a vampire, a very intense witch (with her face made up with green skin and extreme eyes), and the fan favorite, a very realistic mailbox.
Garner also shared an image of herself walking around somewhere just wearing a stick-on mustache.
The 50-year-old made a point with the post, declaring that she wears whatever she wants to Halloween, whether it be simple, scary, or hyper-realistic. She doesn't ever try to wear something "super flirty," as someone thought.
The video was an instant hit with fans. One person wrote, "😂😂😂 in all fairness that was a pretty flirty mailbox ❤️🎃🧙🏻♀️📬," while another said, "I think the mustache is my favorite costume. 😂."
Another person commented, "This explains so much about why I always end up in a Monty Python tribute costume. Don’t tell me how to dress up."
Actress and friend Selma Blair left a comment on the video saying, "I mean. Miles of smiles here. You are perfect."
Garner posts on social media often, and she loves joking around with cute pictures and funny videos like this one.
In a past video, Garner put on a whole skit in which she played both a mom in need of help and a skilled Target employee coming to her aid to promote her own line of healthy and clean baby food.
