  • Jennifer Garner, 47, just posted an no-makeup video of herself to Instagram repeating a tongue twister while numb from the dentist.

  • While the actress is fully embracing her goofy side, her glowing skin is no joke.

  • Jen keeps her skin looking healthy using a retinol oil and chooses tea instead of wine at the end of a long day.

Jennifer Garner is all twisted up. Well, actually, it's just her tongue that's twisting in a new Instagram video, snapped after a #numb trip to the dentist. The 47-year-old Peppermint actress, who appears to be makeup-free and totally glowing in the clip, explained that she went to the dentist for a "small procedure" and emerged "numbity numb."

She didn't let the **perfect** comedic opportunity pass her by though, opting to film herself repeating a tricky vocal warm-up exercise.

Jennifer laughed her way through lines like, "What a to-do to die today, at a minute or two to two; a thing distinctly hard to say, but harder still to do." Attempting to say all that with a fully functioning mouth is hard enough, let alone a post-dental-procedure numb one.

Jennifer is absolutely adorable in the clip, and her many fans are quick to compliment her realness. Also relatable: her skin looks totally au naturale. There doesn't seem to be a trace of makeup on her face, and her skin looks casually flawless.

So, how does Jennifer's skin stay totally luminous—even straight from the dentist's chair? She's found a few key products that help her maintain that fresh-faced glow 24/7. "I think that as you start to get older and get deep into your 40’s, you have to figure out what your retinol product is going to be," Jennifer, 47, told InStyle.

She uses a gentle Neutrogena Wrinkle Repair retinol oil. (FYI: She's a Neutrogena spokesperson.)

Jennifer also opts for a cup of tea in lieu of vino in the evening. "I find that if I drink tea I can make myself think that it's something special, because you know how you just really want a glass of wine at the end of the day?" she told Elle. "So, sometimes I can really want a glass of wine but talk myself into believing that tea is as nice, and that's one thing to do to be nice to your skin." (Brb, buying a ton of tea.)
