Jennifer Garner has been having quite the holiday season. First, she accidentally ordered a gigantic Christmas tree that we haven't stopped giggling about, and now she went all out decorating her... chicken coop! Jen is quite the crafty gal, and while we've been working to deliver all the hottest holiday decorating tips and tricks this season, we must admit, we overlooked holiday chicken coop decorating trends. Thank you Jen for bringing this to our attention. Let her serve as your chicken coop decor inspo this Christmas.

The Peppermint actress posted a photo to Instagram this week captioned "My ladies wanted me to relay: their halls are bedecked." And by ladies, she obviously means her chickens. In the photo, you'll see that she lined her coop with traditional multi-colored Christmas lights, as well as two signs. One sign reads “The Lair, Est. 2017” and the other sign reads, appropriately, “Fresh Eggs.” The photo gives off major Farmhouse style vibes, which makes sense since it was the number one trending home style of 2019. Also, because, you know, chickens typically live on farms.

Unfortunately, the chickens must have been camera shy, as they are nowhere to be seen in the picture. But in the past, Jen has shared snippets of her chicken children with her followers. Her first chicken went by Regina George, but sadly isn't with us anymore. Her current chickens include Hennifer, Kartoshka, Captain Hook, and Bellatrix.

We're excited to see what else Jen will bring our way before Christmas hits. As for now, we'll start prepping some designs ideas for her chicken coop during the rest of the year. There's got to be a way to tie in Pantone's 2020 color of the year into the mix, right?
