Apparently, body shamers are still at it even in the distressing year that is 2020! Someone asked Jennifer Garner if she is pregnant on her latest Instagram post, and she responded in, honestly, a pretty nice way, even threwing in a joke about potentially gaining the "Covid 19."
In her response to the question, Garner wrote: "I am 48, have three healthy kids, and am not—and never will be—pregnant. We can lay that pupper to rest. Have [I] gained the Covid 19? Possibly. But that is another story." She capped the response off with a laughing emoji, pizza, taco, donut, chocolate bar, and glass of wine—big vibes!

The Instagram account @commentsbycelebs spotted the exchange, and other Instagrammers had a lot to say about it. Mainly, everyone agrees that people should stop commenting on each other's bodies in any capacity! One person wrote, "The only appropriate time to ask a woman if she is pregnant is if she is literally pushing the baby out." Honestly, not wrong! And at that point, you shouldn't have to ask.
Will body shamers strike again? It's likely. But this is literally a year of chaos in which we should find joy in consuming all of the banana bread, sourdough, and cookies we need to feel some sort of comfort. Plus, simply the act of baking can actually help reduce stress! Keep at it, folks, and show off your creations on social media while you do so.
