Her acceptance speech — as well as her refusal to be played off — was one of the night's highlights.

But despite the accolades — as well as her upcoming role in the second season of The White Lotus — it sounds as if not everything was peachy keen when it came to filming the first season.

In a new interview with Allure (via Entertainment Weekly), Jennifer revealed that she actually had to go to the hospital as a result of some of the prep she did for the show.

Jennifer explained that, before arriving in Hawaii to shoot the show, she got a spray tan to avoid looking "like a big, white marshmallow" during the beach scenes.

"I got on the plane and I started to feel really weird," she recalled. "By the time I got off the flight, I had to go to the emergency room."

The experience led Jennifer to believe that she's developed an allergic reaction to certain types of makeup in recent years.

"I think we ended up using regular makeup," she said while talking about the rest of the shoot. "The minute we stopped filming, I would shower. I have such a quick reaction to stuff."

Jennifer also said, "I was never someone who cared very much about ingredients. Then, I'd say, the last five or six years, I started getting allergic."

She explained, "My eyes would always be tearing up, but it never occurred to me that it was my makeup."

All in all, Jennifer's experience is a good reminder that if a product you're using might be giving you an allergic reaction, it's worth trying something else.
