Jennifer Aniston's First-Ever Instagram Post Is an Epic Friends Reunion

For the past decade, two major questions have been haunting Friends fans: Will there ever be a reunion, and why the hell isn't Jennifer Aniston on Instagram? Today, we finally have an answer to one of those questions. On October 15, a new verified Instagram account for Jennifer Aniston popped up. She already has about 150,000 followers, but we're willing to bet she'll be in the millions by the end of her first day on the platform. In case you were curious, she's only following a handful of lucky people including Oprah, Adam Sandler, and Julia Roberts — you know, just a few unknowns.

"My friends call me Jen," reads her bio. And speaking of friends, Aniston only has one post so far — but it's a good one. Though her selfie is dark and a little blurry, she's unmistakably smiling alongside former Friends costars David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Courtney Cox, and Matthew Perry, all of whom, with the exception of Perry, have Instagram accounts. "And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM," she captioned the photo, which fans are desperately hoping is the sign of an upcoming reboot.

Though the reunion selfie is a sweet gesture and Aniston has toyed with the idea of performing in a series reboot, the chances of that happening are close to zero, according to the show's creators.

The bright side is the core cast remain great, uh, friends, and still meet up when the opportunity strikes. In fact, Cox posted a snapshot of her, Aniston, and LeBlanc together on October 6. "A rare night and I love it," she wrote with the post. Here's hoping that Aniston's new account will make for more documented Friends reunions — oh, and plenty of updates on her hair.
