Last year, Jennifer Aniston’s super-bronzed cover for InStyle had fans fuming. Now the birthday girl — she turns 51 on Feb. 11 — is back on newsstands with yet another photo shoot that is drawing criticism.

The actress’s shoot for the March cover of Interview is a saucy one. Aniston, who is interviewed by pal Sandra Bullock for the accompanying cover story, wears just a leather jacket, black briefs and sexy over-the-knee boots in the photo. But the pose — which has her perched on the edge of the table, legs akimbo with one heel jauntily kicked up, her left hand seemingly captured mid-snap à la the Fonz — has been blasted as “awkward” by her fans. Aniston’s bemused facial expression also caught some flak.

“WTF is with this horribly awkward pose????” one commenter said of the shot captured by fashion photographer Alique.

“She’s a beautiful woman but this is not a flattering photo,” read another critique.

“Whoever let this icon and national treasure pose like this and print it on a cover should be fired,” griped one commenter.

“Everything about this is horrible,” someone added. “Facial expression, tacky outfit, awkward pose. Not to mention having her pant-less doesn’t make the picture more appealing in the slightest.”

“When it’s so not your look ... and it says it on your face,” one person joked.

Though some dubbed the “motorcycle mama” look “super-hot,” others felt that Aniston looked “uncomfortable” in her sexy get-up.

On the bright side, Aniston at least dodged an awkward moment in her conversation with Bullock. The two stars joked about having each dated actor Tate Donovan, who’s starred in The O.C. and Damages. Donovan split from his Love Potion No. 9 co-star Bullock in 1994 after four years of dating; a year later, he began dating Aniston and played her love interest, Joshua, on Friends. They broke up in 1998, the year she met a handsome blond thespian by the name of Brad Pitt.

“We were introduced by our former boyfriend,” Bullock noted in the interview. “I say ‘our’ because you and I both partook of this one human being.

“Yes, we did,” Aniston responded. “That’s a beautiful way of saying it.”

“We both partook of Tate,” Bullock continued. “Who was a very patient human being, given that he dated us both.

“He seems to have a type,” her friend cracked.
