Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox know that it hasn't been anyone's day, month, or year. But they're still encouraging their followers to wear a mask. The real-life friends posed in matching blue tie-dye face masks in two separate Instagram posts over the weekend and urged their followers to mask up in the face of COVID-19.
Cox opted to share a video of her two dogs playing around alongside some adorable captions. After one of the pets seemingly asks the other to put on a mask, a caption reading "I'll make it worth your while" flashes across the screen. By the end of the clip, both of the pups have fallen in love because of their insistence on PPE. She followed her video with a photo of herself and Aniston posing in their masks alongside the puppies in their own mini face coverings.

Aniston took a more serious route when promoting face masks on Instagram. She shared a photo of her friend Kevin in a hospital bed, recovering from COVID-19. "This is our friend Kevin. Perfectly healthy, not one underlying health issue. This is Covid. This is real," she captioned the powerful photo. "We can't be so naive to think we can outrun this...if we want this to end, and we do, right? The one step we can take is PLEASE #wearadamnmask. Just think about those who've already suffered through this horrible virus. Do it for your family. And most of all yourself. Covid affects all ages," she continued. The actress also clarified that the photo "was taken in early April" and that her friend "was almost recovered now." That photo was followed by a masked-up selfie of Aniston and Cox.
Celebrity pals like Gwyneth Paltrow, Naomi Campbell, and Michelle Pfeiffer expressed gratitude for Aniston's message in the comments section of her post.

Cox and Aniston are expected to reunite once again this fall with their fellow Friends cast members—Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer—for a long-awaited reunion on HBO Max. The unscripted special was originally slated to film in May, but was delayed after a widespread production shutdown for the pandemic. Variety reported in May that the reunion will likely air this fall.
