Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were reportedly nervous before the Fast Times at Ridgemont High table read.
Dane Cook previously said there was no drama between the ex-spouses.
A source said Brad and Jen used to be bothered by how everyone wants them to get back together.
It's been a week since the Fast Times at Ridgemont High table read breezed into our lives and gave us enough Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt fodder to carry us through the year. Lucky us, a new Us Weekly report just dropped about what really went down before the charity event and what Brad and Jen really think about fans who ship them.
According to one of the magazine's insiders, Brad and Jen were honestly "a little nervous" before they reunited and acted opposite one other. Understandable! Who wouldn't be nervous to read these lines in front of their ex-spouse with whom they had a super messy, public divorce???

That said, they "both enjoyed themselves," and as Dane Cook previously shared, there was absolutely no drama during the reading.
But let's talk about how this little reunion—and other recent encounters—reignited the hopes of fans who really want them to get back together after all these years. According to Us' source, "It used to bug them how everyone pulls for them to get back together, but now they laugh it off." They went on to say:
"The truth is they have each other’s backs. They constantly bounce ideas off each other and share happy news when they have it. They have such a natural, easy energy together...They don’t want to milk this 'friendly exes’'dynamic they’ve got going on too much. They’re both very mindful of that."
Alrighty, so Brad and Jen are just really supportive friends! Nothing more! It's time to give it up, guys. (Okay, this is mostly a note to myself, but it must be said!) Guess we should just let Jen go back to living her best life filled with Friends reunions and let Brad go back to taking his new girlfriend to his old wedding venues.
