Jennifer Aniston on the Ageist Compliment She Can't Stand

There's a secondhand compliment Jennifer Aniston is definitely not a fan of.

In a profile with British Vogue, interviewer Arden Fanning Andrews told Aniston she's been having conversations about the phrase, "You look great for your age," and how "it should actually be: you look great—period." Aniston agreed, noting how much it irks her, too.

"It drives me bananas. I can't stand it," the Friends star said. "That's a habit of society that we have these markers like, 'Well, you're at that stage, so for your age…I don't even understand what it means. I'm in better shape than I was in my 20s. I feel better in mind, body, and spirit. It's all 100 percent better."

The actress also shared insight into her workout routine, crediting the products from fitness equipment and workout program company Pvolve (for which she is a brand ambassador) for keeping her feeling great.

"With Pvolve, you can really pick from so many workouts depending on how much time you have, the levels of strength that you're at, and where your body's at, and you feel energized afterwards," Aniston shared.

"It's just good on my body; it's good to my body. And I feel like I've done something really good for myself," added the 54-year-old.

In another recent interview with InStyle about her Pvolve partnership, Aniston shared the music she enjoys listening to during her workouts. "I'm really into Lizzo right now, I love Rihanna, of course, and I love old school '90s hip-hop," she revealed.
