Jenna Dewan got a little entangled in some controversy last night during the American Music Awards. The actress and dancer was in the audience and at one point during Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes' "Señorita" performance (the one where they almost kissed, got Taylor Swift's hopes up, and then yet again didn't), the camera shot her reaction. Dewan appeared to be saying something to her friend, stylist Brad Goreski. Some people online thought that something was shady: People on Twitter tried to read Dewan's lips and thought she was saying, "She's always so extra," while rolling her eyes. Dewan denied on her Instagram Story that was the case at all.

Dewan posted several Instagram Stories of Cabello's performance and a video where she explained she's actually a huge fan of Cabello. "I’m getting a lot of text messages from people wondering if I was shading Camila," Dewan said. "No! I love her, I love her so much. I’m such a big fan of hers. I don’t understand what that’s about but no, I love her, love her, love her."

"Um, Guys, we were bumping and grinding so hard to ’Señorita.’ We’re obsessed," Goreski said.

"That’s my favorite song!" Dewan added. "So crazy! Anyways, clearing it up."

Cabello and Mendes won the American Music Award for Collaboration of the Year for the song. Mendes wrote a big thank you to the AMAs' organizers on his Instagram during the show, along with a sweet message for his duet partner and girlfriend Cabello.

"@amas thank you everyone thank you so much!! ❤️" he wrote. "also @camila_cabello i admire you so much you unbelievable human being thank you for being you ❤️❤️ we love u guys."
