Jenna Bush Hager's Birthday Instagram to Barbara Bush Shared Sweet Childhood Photos

Jenna Bush Hager celebrated more than Thanksgiving last week — the Today host and her twin Barbara Bush turned 39, and Jenna shared the sweetest Instagram carousel to honor another year of sisterhood.

“Happy birthday to my partner since birth,” she wrote in the caption. “I don’t know life without this beautiful, giving gorgeous soul — and wouldn’t want to. I’m the luckiest to be born walking through life side-by-side with the small girl with the largest heart. I adore you @barbaritabush!”

The post featured a gallery of snapshots from their childhood — them sleeping side by side as babies (in matching frilly outfits, no less), posing in front of the Christmas tree with their mom, Laura Bush, drying off at the pool as toddlers, and posing arm-in-arm on the National Mall in Washington D.C. (again, in matching outfits!).

As always, fans adored the touching gesture. “Happy Birthday to my two favorite ladies! Kisses to you both ❤️🇺🇸” one commented. “Precious!!! Happy birthday! 😘” another wrote.

Although Barbara’s Instagram is private, she publicly wished her sister a happy birthday on Today with Hoda and Jenna, where friends and family joined virtually to share their love. “Happy birthday, sissy," Barbara said. "There is no one in the world that I would rather share a birthday with." She added that growing up, Jenna was always a “very hilarious” kid who kept life interesting.

"Jenna concocted these wild worlds that our Barbies lived in," she said. "As a teenager, we shared a car, shared friends. ... The thing that I love most about Jenna is how much joy she brings to the world. ... I hope that this is your happiest year yet!"

The Today set was decked out in balloons and Hoda Kotb even wore a party hat. “Thank thank you ... to the best, kindest, most talented, fun, work family at @hodaandjenna @jolamathisen and my partner (how did I get so lucky?!!) @hodakotb for making my birthday so very special,” Jenna wrote in another Instagram post. “In a year filled with uncertainty and heart ache you made this girl feel so very loved.”

Savannah Guthrie, Jenna’s colleague, good friend, and the godmother of her son Hal, also shared a birthday tribute. “She is the one you want to wear matching shirts with, raise your kids with, make your memories with, do your dance routines with, dress up for a party with, laugh with, cry with, laugh and cry with,” Guthrie captioned an Instagram post.” The shooting star of a soul who enthusiastically blazes through life making everything shinier and more brilliant and more light and more joyous. She is the one that won’t hold it against you that YOU FORGOT it was her birthday today. Truth is @jennabhager you really ought to be celebrated every day anyway. Happiest Bday!!!”

Who says pandemic birthdays can't be good ones? Cheers to 39, Jenna!
