ERIC EDHOLM: Penn State edge rusher, Jayson Oweh, is a raw, but exciting prospect who could be the next Nittany Lion to crack the first round. On the upside, he's a truly elite athlete. Even in a league full of elite athletes, his sub 4.4 40-yard dash and 257 pounds is truly stunning, and his burst, and quickness, also his length really stood out. On the downside, his production has been very inconsistent.
Seven sacks in 2019. Zero in 2020. He's also got to learn to use his hands better to defeat blocks and continue developing his pass rush arsenal. For a comp, we see him as very similar to Robert Quinn, another highly talented, but hot and cold pass rusher.
