Even with a leadership shakeup, the Washington Redskins are unlikely to see the return of All-Pro Bowler Trent Williams any time soon.
Milo: As someone who was raised on welfare by a singe parent with mixed delusion disorder, let me say that a payout never would have helped my brothers and I be successful. You have to have spent a fair time with money to know how to manage it. If anything a payout would set many who are already feeling marginalized up to fail. If politicians really wanted to help (as opposed to buying votes) they would support programs that promote permanent fixes just as they would do for their own kids. In other words, offer a clear path to success through work and education. This is not trivial or cheap. It requires a massive and painful mindset change of those who need it the most and it will likely take more than a generation to implement. But wouldn’t it be nice if there was no longer a wage gap, an employment gap, or a difference in the percentages of kids with a father?
