Pictures of Jason Momoa relaxing on vacation with his wife, Lisa Bonet, went viral earlier this month, after a series of trolling comments about his physique (which still looked incredible, albeit less shredded than it was while he was shooting Aquaman) prompted an online conversation about male body-shaming. The actor has just revealed how he felt about those "dad bod" jokes... and it turns out he could not care less.

TMZ intercepted Momoa at LAX on Monday, and asked him if he had been "offended" by the comments, to which he gave a typically Momoan response: he simply shrugged and replied "not at all." He also said he'd recently really enjoyed some Guinness cake at a surprise early birthday party, and jokingly implied we might be seeing more of that now-famous "dad bod" soon.

Momoa will be turning 40 on Thursday, but his friends decided to start the celebrations early with a surprise party, complete with a Guinness bar pouring pints with his face on the head, and a giant cake made from Guinness — very on brand for the actor, whose love of the Irish stout is well known (he showed up to the Game of Thrones season eight premiere with a can in hand).

Momoa's on-screen Game of Thrones wife, Emilia Clarke, showed up to wish him well, as did actor Ian Somerhalder. The whole party was captured on film by Momoa's friend Damian Bray.

In addition to playing Aquaman in the DC universe, Momoa's next big project is See, a science fiction series set in a future where humanity is blind. It's billed as one of the flagship shows for the upcoming Apple TV streaming platform.
