Jason Momoa recently spent a day out on the open sea fishing, and uploaded several photos and videos from his excursion to social media. That's exactly the kind of activity that you would fully expect from the famously outdoorsy, fun-loving actor, but one video in particular captured the internet's attention.

In the video, Momoa—who was born in Honolulu and identifies as both Hawaiian and Pawnee—is wearing a Malo, a traditional Hawaiian garment. The nature of this clothing means that almost all of his body is visible.

As the star of several action movies, Momoa has frequently shown off his physique, not ot mention demonstrated his speed, agility and upper body strength on Instagram in clips of his boxing and climbing workouts. But as this new video shows, the Aquaman star is making sure to get in those lower body workouts too.

The response on Twitter since the video dropped has been predictably thirsty, with many people seeming to lose it over the actor's big, peachy behind. Elsewhere online, however, it must be acknowledged that others are pointing out that it's kind of a bad look and inappropriate to fetishize or sexualize Momoa for simply wearing an ordinary piece of clothing that many indigenous Hawaiian men have worn while fishing for generations.

Momoa shouted out his water brand Mananalu in the caption for the video, reminding fans of his company's mission to rid the world's oceans of single-use plastics. He has previously used other similarly internet-breaking moments to raise awareness of the cause, like when he shaved his head earlier this year.
