January Jones debuted a drastic new look.

In a new selfie, the Mad Men alum showed she went from mid-length hair to a spunky pixie cut. She then shared a video on her Instagram Story of her gecko shedding his skin and eating it. She captioned it, "Tom and I both shed for summer. I didn't eat my hair tho."

The actress' famous friends seem to be big fans of the cut.

"Hell yes," wrote her Mad Men costar Kiernan Shipka. The Handmaid's Tale star Genevieve Anderson also approved, writing, "It's a yes." Linda Evangelista added to the chorus of "yeses", commenting, "♥️♥️♥️ YES." Additionally, Jones' The Last Man on Earth costar Kristen Schaal invited her into the short hair club, quipping, "Welcome to pixie world!"

The actress' fans also shared their love for the 'do. "God dang you are a beaut!! You can pull anything off," noted a fan, while another wrote, "Absolutely alluring! I don’t think you can honestly look bad even if you tried."

"Not normally one to write a stranger but…ow wow, what a change and my do you rock it," remarked someone in the comments.

Jones truly can pull off any look. In 2020, she had her hair cut into a bob and dyed it pastel pink. Then, in March 2022, she went for a stylish bowl cut. She captioned the video showing it off, "Revisiting my childhood self."

However, none of these are her edgiest looks. Jones actually sported her shortest, most shocking cut as a child. In a viral yearbook photo uploaded on March 26, 2020, Jones revealed her childhood mullet, which prompted fans' comparisons to Joe Dirt and Rod Stewart.
